Happy 3rd birthday Asha!

Asha's third birthday celebrations at her school in Raleigh, NC

My first born, the apple of my eye, my reason to be, turned three yesterday!! Yes, time seems to have flown by. No, the twos weren’t as terrible; just unpredictable.

The celebration at school was so much fun.  There is nothing as pure and therapeutic than being around happy little kids.  For me, they really put the world in the right perspective and remind us of all the good things in life despite of the tragedies around us (Brussels, you are in my prayers!).  Devang, Arjun, and I took the biggest fruit tart we could find along with handmade crowns and homemade musical instruments.  Asha had so many balloons on her chair (thanks to her teachers) that it looked like she might take off. The party was a booming success and it really was one of the happiest days of my life.  We ended the evening by going out for dinner and dessert and then walking home with the big beautiful moon shining down at us.

Happy 3rd birthday my love. You are the sunshine in my life.  Hope you are always surrounded by happiness and kindness so that you can give back ten folds!
