Weekend fun

Let’s just say that I got (a little) carried away when Asha said she wanted to play with a cardboard box and some crayons.  I couldn’t keep myself from tinkering with her doodles until eventually the cardboard box was a rocket ship! It almost tops the cardboard cat I made for her once.

It was a good weekend, even though the cold weather made it hard for us to spend too much time outside.  We still went on walks and to the smaller neighborhood park which has monkey bars among other things.  I tried my hands at it and was disgusted by my upper body strength. I wanted to cry.  Ahh…

I didn’t get much else done other than dreaming up out next vacation (Iceland may be?). I hope you had a great weekend too. My Asha’s birthday is on Tuesday guys…my baby…she will be three. Sometimes she seems so little and other times she seems like an 80 year old wise woman.  I love her to pieces and can’t wait to celebrate the most joyous day of the year!

Happy Monday.
