Because it’s the weekend. Because it’s so sunny and beautiful outside. Because Devang is home too. We made some chocolate waffles to celebrate!
I love Kodiak Cake brand pancake and waffle mix which I purchase form Costco. But on days when we are feeling extra special, we bust out the waffle maker and the cocoa powder and make some chocolate waffles!
Yummy and delicious, we ate them with maple syrup, fresh blueberries, and bananas. Not only do they taste very chocolatey without any added sugar, the cocoa powder also adds a healthy boost of antioxidant (I use Rodelle’s European Dutch processed gourmet baking cocoa).
