Just another Minimalist with too much Stuff

I really thought that living in a small city condo had kept us in check with the Stuff we accumulate.  Then of course I started getting ready for the move and couldn’t explain why every closet, drawer, and space under beds was jammed.  It’s worse when most of this stuff just sits there for the sake of it without any actual or frequent use.  I am enjoying the purge of the hand-me-downs as I plot for the new things I want to invest in for the new home – much to my husband’s chagrin who sees it as simply getting ride of Stuff to get more Stuff.

In other news, I want to share a handful of pictures from the past few days. Arjun has started smiling a lot and he doesn’t even know how much more it makes me want to squeeze him and eat him.  Asha made me smile when she picked up a copy of Better Homes and started making up a story to tell. And the most heart melting picture of the two brothers with each others babies!

  1. Such beautiful pictures – so full of love. Good luck with your move! I recently purged my small apartment for my move and I had the same thoughts as you; even while consciously trying not to accumulate things, I still had so much stuff!
