When it snows.

Maui, Hawaii 2014

In Chicago, the day started with a wind-chilly -26ΒΊF today. Our vacation to Hawaii can’t come soon enough. We are headed there in just 18 days but it seems so far away on a day like this.

Last year in January we took our first family trip to Maui and the Big Island and after seeing the Facebook feed of our friends in Chicago living through the many Polar Vortexes, we decided to make Hawaii an annual get away during the worst of winter. This time we are basking in the sun on Oahu and Kauai. I can’t wait to feel the sand in my toes.

And while I wait, here is a reminder of the good times from our last time in Hawaii. Stay warm my friends!
