Homemade Soap Dish

I use a soap dish by the kitchen sink to hold the pot scrubber. I hand made it (twice) a while back using vintage china and a candlestick holder. But both times the proportions were a bit flawed which caused the dish to top over and crack. So I came up with a better design.

I ended up swapping the long candlestick holder with a squat wide topped one and found a dish that nestled in it instead of just on top of it. The final product also has a smaller circumference making it fit better in that narrow space behind the sink.
The necessary materials came from a thrift store and set me back $1.45 and took about 5 minutes.
