In this edition: She Tries her hands at Poetry

sunset

Have you ever spent an entire day knowing exactly what to say
But then the moment comes and it washes it all away.

My mouth spoke before the head approved
and what was sweet suddenly turned into insensitive and rude.
Before I could correct, restate and repeat
The words puddled by my feet.

I’m wondering if I said something wrong
Or just wrongly said something that was right.
What was the reason for this fight?
