MOTHER HOOD

A Path of Good Intentions { Gingerbread House Edition }

Last week we tried recreating the “Cookie Village” from the Sunday edition of the New York Times. I mean just look at the spread! How can you not be tempted!?

It was a path of good intensions lined with homemade icing that just did not want to stick.

But the thing about such an undertaking is that even when you fail, there is enough candy to keep everyone happy! = )

We had a blast even if we had nothing to show for it.

Well, not nothing exactly. We did manage to make a snowman named “Icy” and his little house (using a hot glue gun).

I hope that your holiday festivities are also off to a good and sugary start! Happy Holidays!

Are you making a Gingerbread House for the holidays?
