The Zero Calorie Donut!

We love donuts around here. Although, living two-blocks away from a 24-hour Krispy Kreme hasn’t provided many opportunities to make them at home. Until now! This is what you will need to make this zero calorie donut.

  • cardboard box
  • scissors
  • paints
  • real edible sprinkles
  • glue

Do not turn on the oven. Spread a table cloth on your working surface to keep clean-up easy. Draw a mini circle. Next, draw a big circle around the mini circle. Cut out the donuts using scissors. This might require adult supervision in case the cardboard you are using is thick. Paint your donuts in whatever “flavors” you like. Once the paint is dry, apply glue and sprinkle the real-edible sprinkles. Keeps for as long as you need. ;)

Perfect accompaniment with your fake coffee! Also makes for a fun game of “drive-through” outside when you add bicycles. Hope you give this zero calorie donut a try. Enjoy!
