I am checking in from Moab, Utah where the earth seems to bare it’s soul. It’s like nothing I have ever seen!
Before Utah , we spent a couple of days in Colorado visiting Denver and Vail. We rented a car after flying into Denver and will be driving it as far as Arizona seeing as many National Parks as we can along the way. Needless to say this is the most time we have spent with our littles on four wheels but so far it has been amazing.
Most of my pictures are on my DSLR but here is a look at some I took on my phone; it’s a little preview of what’s to come later. Hope you are having a good week too!
Our time in Denver was short but very productive. We saw some friends we hadn’t seen in years, walked around downtown, made it to storytime at the awesome Denver Public Library, and ate some good food at Root Down.
On our drive to Moab we stopped in Vail which was very beautiful and quiet without its skiing rush.
We have been in Moab for a couple of nights now and are falling in love with the amazing landscape. It’s crazy to wake up surrounded by red mountains. We were unsure of how much hiking we would get to do with the kids but so far we have hit every trail on the list without an issue…well, except sore bodies after carrying them up and down mountains in a pack. But still so so worth it!
Thanks for sticking around. I can’t wait for the rest of the trip to unfold. We live in such a beautiful country and I feel extremely lucky to be experiencing it first hand.
Wow, lovely pictures!
