Professional Picnicking

Here’s a summer sport I’d like to put some effort into. Picnicking.
Today, Dottie and I partook in the opening of Grant Park Orchestra’s 2012 season with a free concert at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park. We had our modest blanket with some cheese, fruit, and wine in plastic cups. But a quick look around and we knew that we had to step it up the next time.
Optional but recommended: Tables with table clothes. Glass wine glasses. Soft cushy blankets. Ice bucket.  Cheese and Charcuterie plate.

I heart Summer.
