This picture is the view from the penthouse conference room of my new office. Last week, we moved to a new address in DC. I now share a fence with the White House, the US Treasury is across the cobblestone walkway, and Washington Hotel and Old Ebbitt Grill are two doors down.
It’s only a few blocks away from my old office, but it feels like a different country. The landscape is more pristine, the buildings have character, the people are prettier, and believe it or not, it feels sunnier on this side of town!
What a way to count down my last few months in DC than to have the President as my neighbor. Although, I don’t think the happy hour tab will ever be as economical.
