AUTHOR EVENTS & STORYTIME: Meeting other authors and connecting with readers is one of my favorite things! Please reach out to me if you are interested in booking a storytime or hosting an author event. I am also available to speak at workshops to share my experience with self-publishing and self-illustrating children’s books.
PHOTOGRAPHY: I shoot my pictures with a Canon DSLR camera (when I feel like making an effort) and increasingly with my Google Pixel 3 XL phone (which to be honest, gives better results than the DSLR on most days). I love taking candid pictures and therefore prefer assignments that involve speaker events (like Creative Mornings RDU), museum/gallery openings, and travel/discovery.
ILLUSTRATIONS/MURALS: The Maze in Raleigh’s Nash Square. Flourish for Raleigh ARTivation. Chalk-marker holiday installation PEACE-LOVE-COFFEE for Larry’s Coffee.
PRESS: WRAL: Go Ask Mom. Spotlight: From finance to children’s books: Meet the Raleigh mom behind the Hello Namaste! board book series – Published May 2019
BOOK REVIEWS: I have lost count of the number of books I have reviewed over the years, most of them being for the amazing and well known publication, Bookpage. A select few reviews and author interviews are listed below but you can click here to get caught up with my latest reviews. Please email me at CHIKA@HELLO-NAMASTE.COM if you wish to have your book reviewed on The Antibland Chronicles.
BRAND AMBASSADOR: Pinhole Press, Petit Collage, and Hilton Hotels, are the three most recent national brands that I have had the pleasure to work with. Please email me at CHIKA@HELLO-NAMASTE.COM for a Media Kit if you think I can help you promote your products and services.
And finally, here is a list of some of my published work … it’s a list I try to keep updated to the minute but sometimes life gets in the way. So if you don’t see an example of what you need, please email me.
