If you find yourself in Venice, please don’t miss the Peggy Guggenheim Museum. I visited it this past January and it was one of my favorite things that I did in the city.
The museum is located in Peggy Guggenheim’s former home called the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni right on the Grand Canal. I didn’t realize this fact while I was in the mueum, but it makes perfect sense now because the entire experience felt so cozy and so intimate. I loved every minute of it and could have spent hours more experiencing not just the fabulous collection, but also the courtyard and the backyard view right on the canal.
