Asha took the picture below last week while we were at the Isla Bella Resort on Marathon Key in Florida, escaping the cold for a few days. The weather was so beautiful, I had champagne in my hands, and John Mayer was playing in the background. I mean I couldn’t have stagged this moment any better than what it already was!
Looking at the ocean with the sun shining down, it was hard to feel anything but an immense amount of gratitude for this life I have been given in all its forms. I figured there was no better picture to mark the end of 2022 and welcome the New Year than this.
My second favorite picture from this trip was the bubble that stayed still for the second it took me to take the picture. It was early morning and the kids were blowing bubbles on the balcony while eating breakfast.
