Doodling

I rather enjoy a good doodle. In this case, the one on a bottle of delicious wine by Benjamin Darnault (Viognier 2022).

Lately, I am also happy for the time I have spent sketching in my book while playing along with my kids. Most of my inspiration is random – some from objects collected on walks, or pictures I found in a magazine, or things that my kids ask me to draw.

Sometimes it is out of guilt too. Like when I slattered half a dozen flies that had invaded my kitchen with the electric fly zapper and then felt bad for it. Flies and mosquitoes really are hard to spare, don’t you think.
