Local Tourist { Lassiter Mills Park }

Our mission this summer is to visit one new park in the triangle every week. Last week, I shared with you our trip to the very unusual and beautiful Green Hill Park. This week I bring you Lassiter Mill Park.

Excerpt from the Raleigh Parks and Rec website describes Lassiter Mill Park, as “a hidden gem of a park.  It is located inside the belt line at the intersection of Lassiter Mill Rd & Lassiter Falls Circle and is home to a beautiful dam where Crabtree Creek flows through … “

I like it’s proximity to the shops at North Hills. And also the mini beachy experience that it affords along with a nice peaceful and shady trail along Crabtree Creek. Here are some of our pictures from our excursion. Hope you get to check it out soon.
